Marvis Frazier is a former professional boxer hailing from the United States of America. Born on September 10, 1960, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Marvis Frazier is the second oldest son of the legendary heavyweight boxer, Joe Frazier. Coming from a family of boxing royalty, Marvis had big shoes to fill, and he would go on to make his mark in the sport, albeit to a lesser extent than his father. Growing up, Marvis was exposed to boxing from a young age. His father, Joe Frazier, was known for his incredible boxing skills and famous fights against Muhammad Ali, including the iconic "Thrilla in Manila." Inspired by his father's success, Marvis decided to follow in his footsteps and pursue a career in boxing. Marvis made his professional boxing debut in 1980, at the age of 20. Standing at 6 feet tall, he competed in the heavyweight division just like his father before him. Known for his quick hands and footwork, Marvis developed a fighting style that combined speed and agility, contrasting with his father's aggressive and hard-hitting approach in the ring. Throughout his career, Marvis faced some of the best heavyweight boxers of his time but struggled to establish himself as a top contender. Marvis retired from professional boxing in 1986 with a record of 19 wins (8 by KO) and 2 losses.
