Because good people tend to help bad people and get used. Bad people take any advantage they can and good people are easy for them to take opportunity from. But believe me karma dose go around. Bad people usually associate with more bad people and really bad things tend to happen to them down the line

I'm not religious at all but there was this one tik tok I saw that mentioned that you should know you are doing things right when there are bad things happening to you. Basically saying the devil is after the good people. Which I guess would make sense.
