First of all, i believe human tend to be in love with love, without being aware of this. (Need to have done introspection and psychanalyse of some sort to understand) Even when truly in love, there still is expectations, illusions. And as a matter of fact, there are part of human that may decline, wither, while some other parts are if not eternal at least more perennial (last longer). And for knowing for sure what someone does really fell ? Only this person can say what he or she does really feels. 🤷♂️

It's a question of many things that only you can define and find the answers within. - But... your attachment type, family dynamics and how safe you felt in your childhood influence this, along with idealizations/did you ever have anyone you idealized. Naturally there's other factors as well, but... If you can identify yourself to yourself, and be honest, you can learn how your feelings can act, and see if they are being deceived/manipulated/projected. - This is all very individualistic and not applicable to all, but for example in my case: Extra warm, sincere, empathethic people may get through my thick protective layers more easily than those who are more "ambivalent", but ultimately it's for me how genuine they are and if they remind me of e.g. a childhood friend, or a nanny who was taking care of me(more than my parents). - So.. know your past to know your present, and protect yourself from your own weak spots ❤️(besut)
