Ground everything you say in a metaphor that they can either visualize or easily come across. Don't pull back too far into abstraction, build concretely on things until you see something click, then see if you can appeal to their tertiary or inferior intuitive function to make a final connection. Sensors are either meticulous or creatures of familiarity, but give them enough of a basis of that nature and they can still grasp principles. It just takes longer. As for listening, it may not be very easy to call on our tertiary Si to sympathize with descriptions or anecdotes, but try to pull back and let what they're saying sink in and you can usually get a grasp on what they're trying to convey.

Don't. Only slightly kidding. However, the harder you are aspected towards Ne, the more frustrated you will likely be. Alternately, remember that they are not blind, just focused on details rather than the structure (classical painting rather than impressionism, if you will), so just let them discuss the details and interject at the end, "so what broader trend can be drawn from those details? I think..." If you coopt the discussion as they go through the details, they will distrust the general conclusion that you are drawing, IME.
