Very much depends, and depends on the culture. In here the men initially think I'm "ducking with them", women are thrown off-guard as they can't tell if I'm sincere or not. Thankfully the company I work with, my team has learned to appreciate it for what it is: Sincere gratitude for working with them where there's times when I help them, they help me. - In trainings that I've hosted sincerity though shines, as I can throw in humour to my heart's extent. *** There's been though moments I have had to clarify that I am being sincere, not flirty to both men and women, as to quite my old colleague: "Being nice doesn't cost a thing and there's enough of negativity in this world to go around as it is." *** When on work trips to the States, it's...
