6MBTI introduced me to Jungian Typology, which is where the real thing resides. Putting aside the superfluous stereotypes and many dumb memes that came from MBTI, learning about the cognitive functions gave me an opportunity to understand some people's behavior and seek opportunities for self improvement.

The problem is that personalities change, so if you just accept the decision that you are a set type you will likely never improve. However, in my case I use it to see into the possible blind spots and weaknesses I have to improve upon myself. And honestly, the tests are limited by the one(s) who made the test, so if they didn't understand something about personalities then the test results will be skewed, like how some of my "weaknesses" aren't actually my weaknesses because the test creator limited the results too much. It's not always accurate and it's definitely not permanent.

Nothing. I believe people are beyond personality types. A combination of letters is not you, you are the result of experiences, people and your environment. MBTI is just a shorcut to understand a person, but you can't deffine if that's enough to get along or create an imaginary enemy

The whole thing is useless, its like another level of astrology for people who desperately try to label themselves, it doesn't make you smarter than anyone, stop pretending that you know people because of their 4 shallow letters. The only plus is that sex workers wouldn't waste time on a test to advertise themselves here.

It helped me to understand why I was different / not relating to others, that my personality wasn't a problem and to accept myself. It helped me to explain who I am since being misunderstood was (and is) common

I actually learned and discovered new things. Especially to myself. I had this quirks that in the past, I never understood and didnt have enough words to explain it. Now Im more confident since I now understand why I do such things. Whenever I meet new people. Its so much easier to understand, read their actions and get along with them. It makes socializing more fun hehehe

6I think it gave me a better understanding of myself, but nothing super lifechaging. It's super interesting though, and it was pretty accurate for me the couple times I took it (INTP in middle school, ENTP in high school and now in college). I think of it like astrology: fun but not to be taken too seriously

Seems like a half-decent insight of looking at myself. A interesting concept, if only partially accurate, but accurate none-the-less.
