6Artificial Intelligence will be a huge catalyst for change. The human society can shift towards any direction but significant changes are inevitable. Would be hilarious if we create a sentient being that will kill us all and so, a new, better, intelligent species will take over the galaxy, while we will be remnants of the past or mythological gods who were weaker than their creation.

Ehh if the world hasn't ended yet I think a lot of today's breakthroughs will be the norm by then. Our generation will be the ones positioned in high hierarchy but generation alpha will probably be the ones discovering and inventing things

9There will be a huge increase in population world wide some scientists predict there will 9 - 10 billion of us. I think we will be facing a lot of hardship in 2050 with resources, climate change etc. On the plus side technology will further advance our species with space travel, A.I, cures to certain diseases etc. But I believe we can still change our world for the better for the better if we act now and work together.

Further along the path to the second coming of Christ, if it doesn't happen prior to 2050. Crypto will be widespread and possibly even overtake currency as we now know it. One world currency, or plans for it. I can see each continent coming up with something similar to the Euro. Upheaval in countries such as India, China, and Japan, as the men of all 3 are going to have an enormous amount of trouble finding mates due to killing female babies either in the womb or shortly after birth. Gene editing will be possible for some diseases, completely curing those who can afford it. Meanwhile insurance companies (particularly health and life insurance) are going to be working overtime to get their hands on genetic information on their customers in order to discriminate against those with undesirable DNA. More cold cases solved by genetic genealogy.
