Together, they formed the production company Deep Ocean Expeditions, which specialized in creating documentaries about the underwater world. DeGruy's cinematography skills and fearless spirit allowed him to capture stunning footage of elusive and endangered species, including great white sharks, giant squids, and deep-sea creatures unknown to science.
Throughout his career, deGruy collaborated with renowned organizations such as National Geographic Society and the Discovery Channel, enabling him to showcase his work to a global audience.
