Not good at drawing/painting

You know, I used to be really good at any I did for art. My pencil shading of a tiger in the river actually got selected to go to the Wyoming Art Symposium for the contest. I didn't place but it was an honor to be be selected. Anyway over the years I've only done ink sketches in my journals and sometimes I'm amazed at how it turns out and but most of the time I can't believe how Terrible it is and I pray nobody sees it😅🤷‍♀️

I'll tell you, it's mostly just alot of practice. You have to be okay with being trash for a good while a refine your work. It's a seed you have to water and when it bears fruit no one but you remembers the seed.

I'm a firm believer that anyone can learn the techniques to draw, to express themselves. But I know what you mean, drawing and painting are my favorite forms of self expression

No one artist is born with the ability to draw/paint it's learned. Sometimes easier for some but it always takes practice. Even if you can't draw you can always practice and try
