Colonel DeBeers, also known as Ed Wiskoski, is a former professional wrestler hailing from the United States. He gained fame and notoriety in the wrestling world during the 1980s and 1990s, portraying the character of Colonel DeBeers. Standing at 6 feet and 2 inches and weighing over 250 pounds, DeBeers was known for his imposing presence and signature bald head.
Colonel DeBeers first rose to prominence in the American Wrestling Association (AWA), a major wrestling promotion during that time. DeBeers adopted a controversial persona, portraying a South African character who exuded racist and xenophobic attitudes. He would often be seen waving the apartheid-era South African flag and making racially charged statements during his wrestling matches and interviews.
