Genjutsu is underutilized

Does anyone feel like Genjutsu is super underrated in-universe? Like the Uchiha are the only ones shown using it (ahem Sharingan), and no one else (other than Kurenai/couple enemies) even bother with it? I can't be the only one who thinks this lol.
