Maryland and Missouri vote to legalize cannabis; South Dakota, North Dakota, and Arkansas reject legalization (more info below)

Maryland voters passed adult-use cannabis legalization reforms by a 31% margin during this year’s midterm elections, making it the 20th state to pass the reforms. Missouri became the first mid-western state and the 21st state overall to approve adult-use cannabis reforms in Tuesday’s elections. The result of the ballot initiative to decriminalize and regulate psychedelics in Colorado is still too close to call the day after Tuesday’s elections. Arkansas voters rejected the state’s adult-use cannabis legalization measure on Tuesday Voters in South Dakota rejected adult-use cannabis reforms on Tuesday by a 6% margin. North Dakota voters rejected adult-use cannabis reforms for the second time during Tuesday’s elections. Were any of you watching these races?
