Random thoughts while preparing for a role

I'm preparing for an acting role while preparing for a storm. The vibe is very weird right now. I'm a method actor so things can definitely get interesting depending on the role, but this particular role feels oddly surreal. Iconic, but itchy and uncomfortable. It feels like a wool suit but I need to make it flow like silk. Maybe the storm will help. But knowing myself I'll probably go on some strange odyssey to get there anyway. Fall down a rabbit hole, play the role, climb out. It's an odd life sometimes. I love it though.
