My husband passed Tuesday, we have been separated not bc he was on hospice tho, the separation stemmed from personal issues in our 13+yr relationship
I've been having a difficult time coping with different feelings, and some of the urns I ordered came in, these are for our children the main urn hasn't arrived yet, but 
Here is my dilemma...
I don't believe in a heaven or hell, I'm non religious and at this stage of my life I honestly do not know what to believe in anymore
I hear folks say they spread loved ones ashes in places they felt they would want to remain, 
Or keep them to keep their spirits close
What is everyone's thoughts on this, I know the boys are keeping their urns to carry with them, I'm unsure what to do with mine as our relationship was not great and there is some resentment there, I'm just honestly curious how others feel, I wasn't sure where to ask my question, I thought this would be the appropriate place

It's so hard to find others that see the world the same as I do, everyone should have their own opinion/beliefs but some days I wish I had someone that had some of the same thoughts process as I do around my age (40+), one day...or maybe never

It astonishes me how adult humans can’t draw lines between facts and theories. The ability to categorize those two items correctly would fix most of the religious issues we have in the world. ✨

What is one of the prime inconsistencies or contradictions about Christianity as a practice that deters you from inheriting it as a way of life? 

Mine is how God supposedly knows all including your fate, but I also have free will and the decisions I make will decide if I make it to heaven or hell. 🫠

Religions are a hoax

I recently saw Teddy Swims live in concert in Australia and mid show about 42ish mins in a guy gets down and proposes to his partner who says yes.. after tributing this with a happier song he then went on to describe my exact struggle with dating these days during a long intermission. I have had a couple relationships over the years come abruptly to an end out of the blue when all things seemed to be going ok.... Without really ever being explained what happened she exits my life, while I'm still sitting here months on wondering what I did wrong or was there somebody else ? That feeling alone is hard for me to get over personally. Does anyone have any advice for accepting what we cannot control. Please ? Not just amongst dating but in life in general. It's a terrible flaw to have downpact masters lol 😂😂🙏🙏 X

Was just given this pamphlet by my cousin (and childhood "brother").
He grew up Autistic with parents that couldn't really understand how to help or properly respect him, so 10 years ago I was happy he found Jesus.
Ever since he's been trying to save me and the rest of his family so we don't go to Hell, but... 

I guess I was too optimistic to think that his marginalized upbringing and our "found/true family" elements would lead him be more accepting of those with differences...

Probably gotta tell him something like I'm gonna go to Hell by Choice then.

For me, being Agnostic means knowing and admitting that we are all fallible, including myself.  No matter the evidence, we can never truly know if there is a greater intelligence at work or not, so I just try to live by the Golden Rule, temper my emotions with logic and vice versa, and try not to be a piece of trash because it usually costs very little and I don't want to take the chance of being reincarnated as a slug or burning for eternity.

So I've been watching some videos on tiktok from a creator by the username of @nononsensespirituality. This is the first I've heard of the term "secular spirituality" and so far I'm here for it. I believe there is definitely an interconnection between all life whether sentient or non sentient. 

I believe the universe itself is a non sentient "god" that we are all apart of, and that life is simply a gift of sentience and consciousness. I grew up christian, but even after I no longer believed I still found myself rejecting the word atheist. I mean if we wanna get hung up on definitions I am "atheists" because I don't believe in the theist beleifs of any presented religion/belief. However I can't stop associating the word "athesit" with people who don't believe in any kind of God at all. I feel like im always going to have an aversion to Christianity, however i see value in Norse Pagan, Celtic Pagan, and Greeco/Roman Pagan practices.

 I believe as she mentions in her videos that there are tools and practices within various beliefs that are very beneficial. You can find wisdom in all things. If I didn't have such an aversion to Christianity I'm sure even I could find wisdom in parts of the Bible from an agnostic view. Anyone else have any experience studying these beliefs from an agnostic perspective, and did any tools or resources help you? I've done a little bit of research into Norse, and tons of deep dives into Greek Mythology (less so the Roman version of the belief). I'd take any advice I can get.
