Anime suggestions?
If you have a favorite, definitely drop it in the anime suggestions! I’ve already watched Demon Slayer, JJBA, Jujutsu Kaisen, Nana, Soul eater, Banana fish, Inuyasha and MHA to name a few. Underrated gems & horror / vampire based anime are especially welcomed. 🦇🍷🤍 Don’t know if Castlevania & Vampire Hunter D count as anime but I love those so much too.

Vampire Hunter D is definitely an Anime, it’s just made in the 80’s, it’s also a style used in Berserk, which is also worth a watch. Though the 2nd season is hard to get through 😊 I’d also say Castlevania is an anime, since the creator loves the style, but it’s also more inspired by the 80/90s anime style rather than the modern version where people are apperently designed after cats 🤔😂 Akira is also a most watch, but for hidden gems I don’t think I’m much help, everytime I find something I think is one, it turns out to be another main stream show 😂

if you love horror i recommend shiki and another. I won’t give you a lot of details because it’s better to watch them without knowing anything. If you love jjk you’ll like devil may cry, the main character dante is literally gojo in another universe and he is hilarious! I personally also love detective anime, so some of my favorites are death note, moriarty the patriot, monster, terror in resonance, and pluto. Death Note is about a teenager named light who finds a notebook that can kill someone if you write their name in the book. Light finds it and he tries to reform the world by killing criminals. Moriarty the patriot is basically sherlock holmes but told from Moriarty’s perspective. Basically, the story follows Moriarty and his quest to become a crime lord who kills the wealthy in hopes of creating a better world. Monster is about a doctor who saves a serial killer and is framed for his crimes. Terror in resonance is about a group of gifted kids who commit terrorist crimes to get the government to pay attention to them. And pluto, written by the same person who wrote monster, is a short series about a world where robots and humans live together in harmony until a murder happens.

An anime I will always recommend is Log Horizon if you want to see something similar to SAO, but the game world’s rules are more impactful, such as class, subclass, the punishment when in-game events were ignored, and even the cost of reviving being gradually steep. The opening, Database, is such a banger also!
