Personal opinion, please don’t slaughter me <.<
Am I the only one who don’t think training arcs work for season based anime’s. Take for example the Hashira arc from demon slayer (no hate, I enjoy the anime as well). But seriously, the balance between light-hearted comedy and action is completely out of whack. Say for anime’s that still has arcs but legntier stories I.e. Fairy Tail, Yu Yu Hakusho, Dragon ball, Naruto, Bleach or Black Clover. They all find a way to balance it out with their sheer number of episodes, so it doesn’t quite become a problem, though not saying filler ain’t a problem for some of these. There is a few examples of training arcs done well in recent anime though, take my hero, personally I think they found a brilliant way to go about it (yes I know my hero is already 8 years old 😩). Dragon ball Z (far from recent) as well, the whole Cell Saga, the training “arc” was done in a way where the whole world didn’t really stop because they had to train, things still kept going, people still died even if they were busy training. Was this just me saying a whole lot of nonsense? Probably, tho I do see it as a problem when a whole season becomes the training arc, it aids the mc yes, but also halts the world around them till they’re up to par with their challenges. All In all I still enjoy the anime’s, no hate to them whatsoever, just something I had on my mind.

My Happy Marriage
