New to Anime
I'm currently looking to get into anime as I've heard their are a ton of good shows to watch! What are some recommendations you guys have? I've started off watching the original Dragon Ball as my friend really enjoys the show. Also looking for new anime friends as I start down the path of anime 😊

Honestly it depends on what you’re into. Action: Demon Slayer and My Hero Academia are good ones. Sports: Haikyu and Bluelock are amazing. Romance: Fruits Basket Mystery/Suspense: Death Note Comedy: Cautious Hero, The Devil is a Part Timer, and The Disatrous Life of Saiki K are all funny I didn’t include some of the more known stuff like One Piece, Naruto, etc. cuz those are kinda long for people new to anime. But the ones above are short or at least have short seasons for you to dip your toes in. Good luck and enjoy!

There are thousands of anime out there so you will be able to find something you're interested in. Here are a few starters: Sailor Moon, Clannad, Ghost in the Shell, Elfen Lied, Beserk, Lovely Complex, Spice and Wolf. There's bound to be something you'll like and others that will suit your tastes. Not sure if you ever had heard about Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood before. It was one of the very first anime i had ever watched myself and finish as well. ...i find it very endearing and ensnaring with its plot and personality and so...SO deep characters. It is very safe to say that some moments still make me cry from basically any emotion still to this day, lol. This anime is an absolute must-watch to me lmao

It depends on which genre shows you typically enjoy. There are horror, slice of anime, action, superhero, isekai, shonnin etc.. types of anime. You pick one genre and then the recommendations would hit the spot. 😁 For example.. You might not like romance anime recommendations if you hate cringe and fun based plots.

Citrus, it's a super cute GL since I didn't see any recommendations for it. It doesn't have as up to date as the Manga though Tomodachi game, psychology thriller type, in debt you play a game with friends to pay it off / dwindle the amount. Black Clover, fighting never give up! High School DxD, Harem super cringy but also funny Tokyo Ghoul, dark and supernatural one that alot of people know definitely popular, but like death note can get boring and repetitive as you continue on Haikyu!!, sport anime volleyball you'll fall in love with the characters and root for their success. Emotional. Just some, hope any helps 😁
