Well, from what I heard... It's considered "immature" cause you as an adult watch "japanese cartoons"... That's basically where all the hate comes from... And people don't seem to even try to understand that there are a lot of anime, with a very mature theme, and I'm not talking about hentai...

I love anime, and like your little animation too, but I think for some people it the styles used in anime, or the fact that the stories add me not realistic, but that doesn’t bother me, I enjoy the creativity 😜

Before anime was popular most 2d animation was for little kids so naturally pepole think if someone watches "cartoons" they are weird because its for "little kids".

Anyway I remember when I was in highschool and I was hiding that I was hiding that I watched weekly shows like One piece and Naruto 😂

It's misunderstood due to what people express it to be (usually showing off fight scenes), or the fact that alot of watches choose to watch in Japanese and some people don't want to watch something unless it's in English or... The worse part is the misconception of everything being sexual or simply someone walking in at the wrong time while some chic is sounding inappropriate even tho nothing is going on.
