On This Day in History - October 26, 1947
October 26, 1947 #OTD Pan Am Flight 923, a Douglas DC-4 flying from Seattle, Washington to Juneau, Alaska, crashed on Annette Island, killing all 18 on board. The cause of the crash was never determined it remains unknown. Pictured: A Pan American DC-4 similar to the one in Flight 923.
