The entire time, it felt as though there was some sort of fire stuck inside me. Having found you in it, I learned to be an adult, and a better human being because of it. I can't keep holding on to the idea of you. The sheer notion that, one day, some how, some way, we could wind up being one. I've run low on patience and have a great deal of time. You make me want to be sober, embrace my creative side. You helped me find my passion, my wit, my humor, my tongue, my pen, my music, and at the end of the day, my heart. I will always love you for it. That being said, I refuse to hold myself back from being the fullest version of myself. I truly pray we find each other again, but I refuse to hold on to the notion of what could be, rather than what actually IS. Love, dearly.
