I don't know why but I'm at the point where I'd just prefer people to forget when my birthday is and just not even celebrate it. I'd rather celebrate alone than people act like they care when they really don't. Who knows tho maybe my birthday, which is tomorrow, will be better but rn this is how I feel. 🙃 (edited)

Usually most people wont even care to prétend to celebrate my birthday, they can just do as if they dont know. Usually if some people take the time to throw an évent for you, its that they care enough for that. Throwing an évent party takes time and money, as well as coordination. Taking the time is a sign affection. Its too much energy to pretend in life, so its not the most frequent instance to happen. After what if its just buying you a gift without trying to take à day to celebrate you and your existence and feel like everyone around you are not even trying, then I can understand the dread. But then again, maybe some are absorbed in life and didnt notice or remember your birthday. Sometimes not being stressed by things in life can make you forget and not take notice of backround details of life. Communication is always the key, mentionning what you want. Then the rest probably dont care, but you should try to see if they just dont have time for the event itself, maybe theyll have a disponibility later for just the two of you. Theres no need to stress, if someone is not meant to be in your life, they will go their own ways. (edited)

I always had the same feelings before my birthdays lol. They said most INFPs are like that, just realized today when I read this post. Anyways today is my birthday and I don't even wanna celebrate but my family keep trying to make sure we (at least) have to go for family dinner tonight, so it's not like they pretended to care, they love me so they just try their best. That's my opinion tho..
