I am not calm. I am contained. A glass ocean with a locked jaw, moon-pulled and tidal underneath. You see the still water; polite, observant, unshaken. What you don’t see... is the undertow sharpening its teeth. There is a black hole in my ribcage, but it does not destroy. It devours light; only to learn how to make its own. I am full; not with softness alone, but with pressure. With gravity. With stars collapsing into language behind my tongue. My love is not a candle. It is a supernova. It will warm your frozen hands, yes, but it may also rearrange your sky. There are rooms inside me that only open in the dark. I have made peace with shadows, danced with them until they called me sister. I know how to hold terror gently, how to cradle grief like something holy. Do not mistake my quiet for emptiness. I am the calm surface of a storm that chose discipline. Kinetic energy braided into composure. Venom distilled into medicine. A blade that learned how not to cut unless asked. I feel everything; the way the air shifts before someone leaves, the tremor in a voice that pretends it’s steady. I collect truths people hide from themselves and wear them like constellations. And still, still... I want to love in daylight. To take all this darkness and aim it toward bloom. To turn obsession into devotion, intensity into sanctuary, depth into something you can float in without drowning. I am terrifying because I see. I am luminous because I stay. There is a universe spinning under my skin, and I keep it steady with breath. But if you press your ear to my chest, you will hear it; the orbiting, the fire, the gravity whispering... I could swallow the world. I choose to hold it. -a little something I wrote today
