Coming Out As Ace?

Tbh I don't even know if this is an option. It feels like I'm NOT about to be myself finally.

Its more like Imma be stressed and frustrated from the amount of explination or me defending my Sexuality saying its a real thing. I wish more people knew about the community.

Is this really an option for us?

You dont have to explain yourself about anything honestly. If youre ace, you're ace. If you're (political party), you're (political party). If you dont want to go to that social gathering, you dont want to go. I feel like i have to explain and justify myself all the time and im better about not doing it. There's really no wrong way to be ace, and if you have to explain to someone why you're ace other than saying you dont experience sexual attraction or don't experience it in a conventional way, then forget about em.

I recently had someone who I was talking to who came out as Ace. I wasn't mad or anything at that fact, it was more so the fact that she wasnt the one to tell me, it was her family. They were so confused when they were talking to me, but I had friends years ago that was like that, so I already knew about it. The frustrating thing was that she ended up talking to someone else within like 3 weeks. I'm so sorry more people aren't aware of this, but you're valid and I hear you. 🫂💜
