Is it ok to like a sports team from a problematic state?

I have no Idea what's your point. If you're from Arizona, why would it be controversial to like Arizona's team? It's rather considered a norm. And if you like particular people from any team, their teamwork, playing style, techniques or for any random reason people like sports teams, so what? I'm from Poland and here people traditionally, whenever a Polish team is not playing, they almost obligatorly support Hungarian team. Actually Hungarians do the sane in reverse. You know why? Because of brotherly political treaties that happened like 400 years ago between our countries. So that's our tradition and nobody cares if the current Hungarian prime minister is considered by some people a dictator. Who cares.
