Pretty Privilege
Do you think it's harder to be attractive, or unattractive? I'm familiar with the term "Pretty Privilege" and how the halo effect can give many benefits to people who are deemed more attractive, but I also see a lot of attractive people saying that it's actually harder being attractive in society. What are your thoughts on this?

People who are pretty get treated better than people who are ugly. Pretty people get more opportunities and perks. My friend is absolutely stunning and you'd be surprised what she gets away with.

It is 100% harder to be unattractive. Being attractive affords you more opportunities - you still have to use these opportunities to make something of yourself. We also need to consider that, for most people, being attractive is something that requires effort and investment. The base you start with isn't enough, you have to invest time, thought, and money to achieve your full potential. A very, very tiny percentage of people are blessed with genetics that perfectly align with our current conception of beauty.
