5I know people mostly share positive news here, but I’d like to post this here anyway. It just feels right. This is Aya. Thanks to her I found my boyfriend on Boo. He messaged me back then only because he’d always dreamed of having a parrot and was really worried about whether he’d be able to handle it as it would be his first pet ever. For the first few days, all we talked about was this little shitter. On their first meeting she pooped in his coffee because he wouldn’t let her bite his ear. They become friends. A year and a half has passed since we started our long-distance relationship and we’ve been living together for six months now. And now we’re crying together because this little minx that cheeky little rascal died this Sunday. Her life was far too short - only five years. For a cockatiel that’s almost nothing. She was with us at the seaside, together we carved pumpkins on Halloween, she always got her beloved cottage cheese on time, and loved listening to music with my grandma. She helped me find the love of my life. I will always remember her. And I want you to know who she was too.
