What book you reading and why?
Reading: The bullet Journal method by Ryder Carroll autistic friend suggested it so will devour it this weekend so I can further expand on the topic. The Effective Choice by Forest Landry: I like to read excerpts of it because it’s a whole collection of thoughtful paragraphs with a relaxed order in its delivery. Already finished it but now I just open it and never finish it. Just randomly open to a page and think about it. Saw it and work. Took it home. AWS DevOps certified Engineer - Professional: reading it to advance my career and refresh my mind on the subject. I keep finding new ways to automate and program the architecture. Also have to retake my certification soon so good to keep at it. Scattered Minds: the origins and healings of ADHD by Dr. Gabor Mate Saw him in a podcast. Liked his environmental perspective on the mental illness is all genetics issue so I read his book. I work for a genetics biotech company so always like to see the other sides of an issue. Great read and definitely different and more human approach. Great book to understand personal child development. Almost done. Karma: A yogis guide by Sadhguru - Met a person in Hawaii. She needed a book buddy so I offered to do a book club type of study from long distance. She chose the book. I started the book. Then she sort of fell off the world and stopped responding. Overall, I hate the initial chapters because I disliked his personality but after getting past the sort of cult following he conveys a interesting truth. I was able to see he actually has something that is organized and brings value. Will be reading his inner engineering book as and looking to take his yoga class at home for fun. AWS Security Exam Prep Already have other certs however, having this specialist one should benefit me. Already seeing it fill in some gaps in my understanding from reading and allowing me to be more assertive in my delivery of information as some concepts I knew from experience. Now I actually know it. Thanks in advance. Let me know if anyone wants book recommendations or just want to read something. Fiction books are ok but prefer nonfiction.
