I prefer non-fiction to fiction, because I like to learn about the real world. Reading non-fiction makes me a more knowledgeable, and informed person. However, I also enjoy to read fiction, especially because fiction is often more well written, exciting and captivating. So reading fiction makes me a better and more attentive reader. For me writing non-fiction has more purpose than writing fiction. But writing fiction makes me a better writer.
