Monster Blood Tattoo, by D.M. Cornish. I have vague memories of finding the first book at a half price books store as a kid and later rushing to get the later books as quickly as possible. I feel like i hadn't heard anyone talk about it anywhere, and still haven't.

A fantastic Good Omens fanfiction which happend to be one of the best examples of social commentary and art as rebellion I have ever come across. Painted in the Margins is full of references to feminist, queer and socialist authors, re-raphaelite painters and street art. Highly recommend.
