Currently Reading: Tales from the Gas Station
I can’t begin to describe how enthralled I am with this book, and excited to continue on the volumes. Especially considering I haven’t read an entire book, let alone felt so interested in one, in an achingly long time due to personal problems. Granted, it’s not a “beautifully and poetically written book for the arts,” but I’d definitely say it’s a good written book. And genuinely made me laugh more than once so far. I’d highly recommend this book if a small town horror comedy sounds up your ally. I’d say the best thing I love about it is the small town is scarily accurate to the small town I grew up in and still currently feel trapped in, and the protagonist sounds eerily similar to myself personality wise, with the same struggles to boot.
