My feelings are mixed about Japan, I can't tell what broke me there. Maybe the homelessness of both old and young? Maybe the air filled with cigarettes? There was many factors but I still love Japan for being so unique, everyone there have their own sense of fashion and they are so kind. Their natural beauty blends in so well with their heritage, shrines and tori gates in the forest and villages in the mountains. They have found a balance of the old technology and the new, most of their public transport uses trains and buses that are at least 40 years old and yet they have upgraded the engines and continued using the same bus and train for years. Honestly life in Japan is better as a tourist and I am thankful I had the opportunity to go there. I just wished I made a few friends there to further understand their life and expectations there.
