I made a previous post about stresses in life including my cat needing surgery. A week after said surgery, I was told she had cancer. Five days later, my baby girl passed away early in the morning laying next to me. All I could do was talk her through it. I am heartbroken still and full of guilt and regrets. She was a week away from 10 years old. She was my little best friend. Life is not the same without her. I lived in my apartment for two months before adopting her and she was 11 weeks at the time. Her brother spent days wandering around looking for her and trying to play. He would get her to chase him by jumping over her and he did that one night and was so confused when she didn't come running up behind him. Church has only ever been alone when Pi had vet appointments. No matter who watched him, there was another cat around. I had no intention of getting another cat, I didn't even want to think about it, but sometimes things just happened and it can be for the better. A coworker had been fostering a kitten that was in need of a home. She was found barely clinging to life in our warehouse at work and had to be nursed back to good health at our local vet. After that she was fostered with my coworkers who is an animal lover. She and her husband have cats, dogs, ducks, and a little boy so she was very socialized. There is also a good chance she is Church's little sister from another mister. I like to believe they are. Pi can't be replaced, she took a part of my heart with her, but Raya has been a loving little girl that has helped me through the heartache and become a new buddy for Church.
