Volunteering at the shelter

Cheeseburger, the 4yr female orange tabby, rare. Only 20% of orange tabbies are female. Both the male & female parents must carry the gene on their X chromosome. She’s happy and showing off during my last visit to the shelter. That scratching is actually an expression of their comfort level. She’s a darling. 4 of the 15 removed from an unsanitary hoarding house environment were female orange tabbies…crazy. She’ll be adopted soon.
