God Forbids Either Turning to or Having Idols

“Turn not to idols, nor make yourselves molden gods: I am Yahweh your God.” (Leviticus 19:4) Purity of or in religion is of importance to God. God forbids the either turning to idols or making ourselves making idols. The true religion of the true God is not to be mixed with or corrupted with the use or adoption of idols. And the true God will not have images or pictures made to represent Him as the Israelites did in the case of the golden calf. (Exodus 32)
