Hello everyone! What classical music do you have the strongest emotional connection to? I'll have to be predictable and say Beethoven's symphonies (with a special mention to the 3rd, the 5th, the 7th and the 9th) and Mozart's Requiem Mass in D minor, but I'm always open to exploring new pieces.

Vivaldi's La Follia (RV 63) Paganini's Violin Concerto no. 2 I wouldn't call it a "strong emotional connection" but Saint-Saëns' Carnival of the Animals is good fun, and although I would describe the pieces as the musical representation of anxiety, Shostakovich's string quartets are interesting
