have you noticed people on BOO are more down to earth than other apps?

I think it's refreshing to see there are fewer people skydiving, bungee jumping, climbing Mount Everest, or deep sea diving on BOO compared to other apps. There are also fewer people with hyper glamor headshots. I know we want to put our best foot forward, BUT I also want to see the real you, someone leading a normal life day to day. Someone who can maintain a healthy lifestyle. A bonus would be someone who understands patience and compromise. (edited)

This app feels like Reddit but with a dating aspect attached. I like it a lot. The MBTI is great for learning about your own personality traits too for those who haven't already, although my last relationship started from an MBTI subreddit, so I'm not putting too much stock into that side of it.

I've only been on here a short amount of time but really love the concept and thinks it is well executed. I think the personality based nature of the app draws people who are interested in how we interact in a deeper, more meaningful way. That's a solid basis for a strong relationship and/or friendship. It's certainly a refreshing change from your average dating app which I find shallow and interestingly cliched. (edited)

You aren’t wrong. Maybe it’s because most people are on other apps, and don’t know about Boo. Or maybe there is a specific type of person who likes the deeper conversation and is more than willing to share, others, not so much. And that’s what we see here. Whatever it is, it’s a nice change.

Well said! Especially the patience and compromise, and the community so far is fun. 😊 Also I really like MBTI and Enneagram, and personally that’s a huge bonus in meeting people you like. It’s obviously not 100% correct about which are good for you or not, but it certainly does help having people who know Typology here, cause personally it’s a thing I like. ✨😊
