7.3M SOULS

When it doesn't seek to represent a trend, but rather an inherent element of everyday life.
The topic generally. There are trending topics and more timeless topics due to their universality. In any case, the more timeless it becomes is when the humor is based on characteristics of the series' own universe and, of course, when the humor is more situational than just a simple joke.
One that still resonates with the current events of our time

When humor is built around emotions, relationships, and weaknesses that everyone understands, it remains funny even after decades.
It has to be something everyday, something that can happen to you any day with your group of friends.
When you find yourself there because it describes your daily life
I think the identification with the audience
It's timeless when the joke references an insider from the series.
.
Those moments when jokes are even inserted into tracks by famous artists.
These jokes are so timeless because they touch on a sensitive point of our being. NOSTALGIA The nostalgia for a time when humor was a bit more unrestrained than it is now. A time when we could laugh without feeling guilty.

A joke becomes timeless when it makes you laugh about what never changes: ego, love, sex, blunders, and human absurdities. Trends grow old. We, unfortunately, much less so. 😏
It's a mistake that it still hits human nature. A good joke never gets old 😁 it gains meaning. 😉
The Premise....
Humor is timeless when it uses intergenerational references rather than contemporary ones. Each generation shares some references with previous ones, and others only among its members. I think that is the secret of humor. The shared or shareable experience.
When it hits so many reference points that the joke becomes a brilliant statement.
When it's relatable.
🤣
It depends on taste for me for me friends every line is timeless
It's hard to say
Flowing, and keeping up with the times
Summary
The community overwhelmingly said a sitcom joke lasts when it is rooted in something that never changes: universal human nature, emotions, egos, misunderstandings and relationships, or in everyday situations viewers instantly recognise in their own lives. Close behind came the flip side, that a joke dates the moment it leans on trends, technology, celebrities, current events or the pop culture of its decade. Smaller groups credited the craft itself, timing, delivery, originality and restraint, while others pointed to jokes that become endlessly quotable or meme-worthy, and a notable cluster debated laugh tracks, with most saying a truly timeless joke needs none. A few argued that humour ages badly when it punches down or relies on stereotypes, and a handful either dismissed sitcoms entirely or said they simply did not know.
