Being an introvert - what is it like in your country?
Earlier in Reddit, I read this question (although directed to Europeans), and found it really interesting how different the experiences are depending on each country. So, for my fellow introverts: what's been your experience as an introvert in your country/region? Personally, I live in El Salvador, and my experience as an introvert has been rather uncomfortable. Introverts are often regarded as dumb, for their lack of social skills (or the will to be social). In summary, most people would expect you to be outgoing here, which tends to lead to awkward situations. Anyhow, learning social skills is not a bad thing, and adapting to difficult situations is crucial in life, but it would be nice if introversion would be appreciated more. Tell me about your experience!

I wish the stigma for single men would die already.
It is not my fault I havent found anyone worth chasing yet. It is not my fault nobody has shown me that it would be worth investing time and money into them. Or are societies riddled with learned helplessness? I have always been more on the optimistic side and highlighted the positives of life, but this trend is hard to ignore.
