I secretly think online dating has given society the illusion of endless options. With a simple swipe, like an Amazon shopping cart, there's always the possibility that your one is just around the corner. I know, I know, it's more complex than that in today's digital world. Everyone is busy with their day-to-day and we don't have time to just mingle, among other factors. Everyone has their laundry list of things they're looking for, or red flags they want to avoid, that's normal. The question is, are we too quick to dismiss those who don't stand out as an immediate yes? Or is it no different to being approached in real life (organically)? If the right partner came along, would you be able to recognize them in the world of superficiality?

I like to give people a chance and get to know them on here. I think most people though like you say one thing they don't like and they are off. I feel at the very least if you see something you don't like talking it out with the person rather than assuming. noone is perfect and in fact seeing how someone deals with you over tricky subjects shows more about someones character. I think I might be in the minority though. At the very least I think it's polite to say because of X I can't see a future for us.

For every person is different but to get to true life values we have to peel off all layers of vanity first . What is important is your inner state . Only you allow to repair or upgrade yourself . That meme you posted just tells about person who had illusions of reality . I believe internet if we agree makes us more lazy . In meme case Scully could just play move on situation she projected . She got what she asked but in this case onwards she have to put some effort for her sake lol . And she is like , nah , probably because time window for moment she desired has passed . Another reason is inner fear of unknown . People do have desires but when time comes for them to do something they pulled back . Insecurity and fear are most common reasons .
