You have to scare some people away

A key part of building a profile is to recognise that you will never be everyone's cup of tea. There will always be a big group of people that don't want you - are any of them a person you'd want to date? No! Are you a night owl? Say so. Are you a metalhead? Say so. Do you smoke? Are you childfree? Not part of the majority religion? Too fat? Too scrawny? EVERYTHING that has scared them away before. Say it on your profile, show it in your pictures, because the people scared away by it weren't going to be happy with you, or make you happy. But more importantly, you'll discover the people who read these scary aspects of you and LIKE them. Who like the rest of you as well. Some of those people you'll even like back! The sooner you show your less "attractive" side, with honesty, the sooner you'll stop wasting time on people who don't even like you, and you'll enjoy your time with people who do.
