No realistic interest in dating, but oh, the friends I have made. Five of them I talk to daily, or close to it, often on the phone for hours. Found some sisters. And some book lovers. Would like to find more local people to go do stuff with but it will come.

I've been a regular for a couple of years. In the beginning, I got responses occasionally but now men look at my profile but never respond. I'm trying to figure out why. 🤷🏾‍♀️ I have been on a date from here though.

There's no, "I've met a good number of broken people that are petrified of moving to another level" option, I see. Without going too deep into it based on some of the conversations I’ve had, it’s a lot of the same; people with decades of trauma second-guessing everything. So many people seem to be addicted to the mind games of the modern dating scene, as well. Caution is always good, but an over-abundance of caution is stagnation. (edited)
