Polygamy?

Hello everyone :) so I'm talking to this one gal that I'm into quite a bit but one thing... she's into polygamy. I myself have always been monogamous but I kinda want to try because I'm quite into her. Anybody have some advice or insight? Thank u! ^.^

Just make sure you have very open and honest communication and clear boundaries. And then enjoy!

See I'm also bisexual so I kinda see the lifestyle as a win but at the same time my concern is me feeling loved less than her other partners.. like how do I know there's no favorites??

You can't be sure there are no favorites, and in most poly relationships there's a main couple and they have other partners. (Not ALWAYS the case, but is typical). Your role in the poly relationship is not to worry about how much time she is spending with others, but if YOU are getting enough quality time with her. Talk about your schedule, if you need a schedule, if she'll be staying at your place, or vice versa, for any length of time. Just talk! Always talk! And if you end up feeling like your needs aren't being met then walk away.

I mean if you're not poly and she is, it will never work out. I'm not poly myself, but I imagine it's not something most people just try out. I may be wrong. But if you get jealous in any sense, then it may not be for you. However, maybe you can establish rules on what you're comfortable with if you really want to try it.

I get it, bro. Before my recent breakup, I was single for 5 years. I mean if you are okay with trying it, go for it. Just be prepared mentally to end it in case you aren't happy with it.

I'm used to the whole breakup routine (it's been done to me numerous times) so I'm used to being used n what not. I got really tough skin at this point lol.

Is dating so hard for us men today that we would end up with someone of different values then us? Like wtf, this world is going to a huge reset, because its so much unbalanced. Its better to be single then in wrong relationship. Like being single for 90% of time and you get used to it. But you do you men. Just dont be simp for her, value yourself.

It’s a lot of work. And no that’s not a ‘haha ya threesomes are a lot of work’ joke. It’s hard enough to keep one other person happy/content. Add another. Or a fourth. The webs can become quite large and unless y’all practice open communication and are true to yourselves and not toxic, well, it’s tough. Probably not something you want to dive into solely to be with someone. More along the lines it’s life choice and something that should be chosen because you want it. Hope this helps. 👍
