Food for thought… 🤔

Why is marriage and having kids still treated as the “default” path in life instead of just one option? There’s absolutely nothing wrong with wanting a family, but there’s also nothing wrong with choosing a life centered around travel, financial freedom, hobbies, friendships, or personal growth instead. Why do you think one path is still seen as the standard?

Nice false dichotomy. You can travel, build wealth, have hobbies, keep friends, and grow as a person with kids. Acting like parenthood deletes all of that is just lazy reasoning to make the childfree choice feel more special than it is.

It's just a choice of life. Mostly, people want to leave a legacy. Because after your death, no one will remember you except for your descendants.
