How do you overcome your depression??

I don't know how to get back to enjoying life, living or even doing hobbies that I loved.. like no artist but drawing/doodling whatever, gaming, gardening, being outdoors and camping.. I have the idea in my head but ever since I lost my mom, I also lost me.. I just feel blah about life. I work, sleep and do what I have to but barely coping sometimes. And even when Im happy ppl claim they can't tell.

Live. The one constant is change and we only learn to be adaptable to change. My condolences on your loss, I lost my mom early in life, so grieve, like FULLY grieve (which can take a lifetime), but give yourself grace and understand that sometimes things don't happen to you, they happen FOR you to become your fullest self. 🙏🏾🙏🏾

You should stop trying to enjoy life. Hear me out: You should stop TRYING to enjoy life. If you don't like something, you can't force it, only fake it. And it's not helpful at all. Furthermore, do not try to enjoy life as "others" would. You don't feel like doing anything? Don't do anything. Your day and you time are YOURS and no one else's. You don't have to be strong everytime, it's okay to shatter. NEVER compare to others. No one live an experience the same way. Also, never listen to ANYONE trying to devaluate your feelings. No, "others have it worse that you!" is NOT something you have to focus about, for 2 reasons: - why do we have to prioritize others people feelings when we can barely hold ours? - we ARE these "other people having it worse!" for a lot of strangers around us. And so, you don't have to "try". Time will keeps flowing and wash away this instant. Though I'm still struggling when it comes to emptyness, I accept it and I embrace sadness because they're a full part of who I am. It's been almost 6 years now that I'm grieving, and it's okay. I like to think that with each tear I shed, my lost love one can feel how much I love her and miss her. @Valerie Keep going, friend. You're doing great.

I feel fir you..I know what u mean I try to do little thi gs each to keep me from being depressed but that only is fir a little while but it does help,like do my nails it helps me to feel am still trying g to take care of myself and not let,but sometimes the blah is still there,or wear a nice outfit and do my hair and watch not to feel pretty it can help a little. It isn't much,but it's something..
