7I like the ship's wheel, but I would suggest getting an armor or closet of some kind. I wouldn't personally call this interior design because it just looks like a storage room. You're young, and maybe don't have a lot to work with between furniture and finances, but there's still things you can do. The most important thing for interior design is deciding what you want the space to be used for. Then you decide what you want to do with it, what you want it to look like, and you go from there. Honestly color schemes are one of the last things you decide. But it sounds like you want a nautical theme, which is one of my personal favorites. It can be really fun finding pieces for that style, and it's not necessarily as difficult as people might initially think. You'd be amazed what you can find at consignment and thrift stores. Or discount stores in general. Anyway, best of luck! Most guys your age aren't even considering how their interior looks, they're just throwing things in a corner and calling it good. So you're actually ahead of the curve. I'm curious what your goal is and how it ends up turning out.
