Why is adobe so difficult for beginners??

I am crashing out because of adobe illustrator 😭😭😭. Why is the pen tool so difficult to use??

You don't draw in photoshop? I never knew about illustrator, but I'm learning Krita myself (edited)

Illustrator is especially counterintuitive and obtuse. The tools in its predecessors were much more fluid and natural but, for better or worse, Adobe dominates the field. So be encouraged, its not you its the, ahem, poor design of their software! Keep at it though and you'll get better with it. If you have a choice in programs there are others out there worth trying depending on what your focus is.

Because it's supposed to be an editing tool.... Use shapes and then add and subtract with the shape builder tool

I would advise looking at a few tutorials tonget the hang of it. Adobe’s secret lies in making it your own and learning to make it your own
