What if you met someone you like on one of these apps/sites. What if you both want to date each other for the first time ever. You then both mutually put this tremendous effort to plan things to match each other’s interests well. When the day comes. As you excitedly wait and become more tantalized for this chance to know this person better. Out of the blue, you realize they are not alone. In fact alongside them is a precious pup. As happy as you are to see such a furry surprise. What is your opinion on someone bringing their pet dog, while never mentioning it, or even planning for it, on the first date? Would you ever bring your dog on a first date unexpectedly without mentioning it at all to the other person? Why? Sidenote: I said pet & not service animal for a reason.

I actually love the idea for three reasons. One, that's an amazing Icebreaker. Two, if I don't like your pet and your pet don't like me the relationships not going to go any further than that. Three, I love dogs a lot more than people 90% of the time. Now, would I do it on a date, no, but I would find it super cool if she did. (edited)
