Has anyone ever traveled with their dog internationally?
If so, what exactly did you need to present? I have to travel soon and I don't want to leave my baby. The airline im taking says his ticket will cost $250 which is fine but I'm a bit confused on the requirements they listed.

Unfortunately, I’ve only traveled with my pets statewide but I have a feeling that most of them will require a vaccine list of all recent vaccinations and possibly a health certificate (as a start). From there, I’d google search what specific type of documents are required for entering into the country. For example, this is Honduras. They don’t require pets to be microchipped but they do require a health certificate. For the second step of confirmation, I’d call/email the airport of that country. I’d find the contact information of their airport to verify and compare the requirements with what the US has. It’ll vary from country to country on specific requirements unfortunately 😅 International is definitely more challenging than domestic but the thought has crossed my mind at one point. You need to check by country what the requirements are. I traveled from south korea->usa->south korea with my two dogs. I needed a form filled out by the vet with vaccine records and interview with export office in the airport to go to the US. Coming back to korea was another ordeal. I had to make sure their vaccines were up to date, get a titer test (almost didn't get it in time, this is blood test that is only sent to to places in the whole country), microchips. I have small chihuahua and a medium small spitz, and the spitz had to ride in the cargo because she was a little too tall. I was so worried about her....My parents have also taken their dog to and from the Philippines. It's just too expensive.
