I've actually had several unintentional lucid dreams. After a while I was able to figure out how to control those dreams...once I realized I was dreaming of course. For example when I was younger and having a nightmare I would realized what was happened and would wake myself up from it. Now I don't even need to do that, now I just change the direction of the dream to be what I want it to be. I don't have any control over when I dream lucidly though, but it happens with nightmares more often than not.

Do you folks dream?
Honestly, I don't know why I can't sleep and dream like a normal person. I literally have weird/frustrating/disturbing dream after dream after dream all night. Not what I would call a true nightmare. No serial killers or monsters... But lots of distress of one form or another.
