Roll20?
Does anyone on Boo use roll20 for roleplaying? Have you had any luck? I can't seem to find a group that lasts more than a couple sessions. If you do have a good group, do you have an opening? LoL. Or do you have horror stories to share?

My group transitioned from IRL to roll20 when the GM moved. That was… 5 years ago? We are still using it and have seen players come and go. Have made 2 lifelong friends from roll20. 1 a sweed from Switzerland and a girl in Oklahoma that has come to my friends wedding and is like a sister to me. It’s like any other recruitment platform. Good games come from good recruiting.

I've used Roll20 in the past. I got a much larger group than I was expecting. 11 players plus myself and my DMA (Dungeon Master's Assistant). After struggling for the first few sessions, I went down to 8 players and we had a good run for about a year and a half. Towards the end there was a little rift between the players because they wanted to PvP and it didn't work out how some of them wanted and I ended the campaign. I did really enjoy Roll20, but it could be a lot of work. I don't know that I'd want to invest that much time again, especially without a DMA, but it was great while it lasted.
